Meet the Team
The principals of Analysis Factory, Rick Montgomery and Cliff Alper, have been collaborating on data management projects for over 20 years. In that time, they have provided nimble, cost effective data management solutions for a wide range of companies in the public and private sectors. Ten years ago, they founded Analysis Factory to focus on data visualization solutions, quickly becoming nationally recognized leaders in the building of Xcelsius dashboards. Analysis Factory dashboards can be found tracking accounts receivables for international construction companies, monitoring gas & oil well production, keeping budgets for small private schools under control, as well as framing briefings for the US Navy and US Air Force. Analysis Factory now applies its data visualization expertise to mobile devices as consulting partners with Mellmo Inc, provider of Roambi mobile apps for iPhone and iPads.
Rick Montgomery
Rick Montgomery, CEO, knows the value of a good story. Every business has a story to tell, and Rick has spent over 20 years using the power of technology to support, structure, measure and manage the narratives of his clients’ businesses. With his expertise in business process design, systems integration, workflow design, and software development, Rick has led successful projects across a broad spectrum of industries, particularly financial services, real estate, and pharmaceutical industries, and technologies (ERP, executive information systems, LAN/WAN deployment, e-commerce). Utilizing the forecasting capabilities of a range of different data visualization technologies, Rick is an expert at structuring the story told by the metrics of company’s past and present to provide a context in which to project likely future scenarios.
Cliff Alper
Cliff Alper, Director of Product Development, is the data visualization wizard of Analysis Factory. He’s responsible for the Analysis Factory signature look-and-feel; Cliff prides himself on delivering industrial-strength software for every day users. Widely recognized as an expert Xcelsius designer, he has designed and implemented dashboards for over forty major corporate clients since 2003 with particular emphasis on dashboard design and live data. He is now applying those design skills to Roambi mobile apps for iPhone and iPads as a consulting partner to Mellmo, Inc. Cliff was recently invited to give a lecture at seminar series titled "Innovative Visualization of Business Data," sponsored by Gallup/Peter Kiewit Institute Visualization Laboratory, and described as a "who’s who of visual storytelling and data visualization." Cliff joined Working Solutions in 2000 and led the development of the Analysis Factory product line. Prior to Working Solutions, he was the Vice President of Software Development at The SpeedWork Company, a firm that specialized in workflow applications.
Gino Terrigno
Gino Terrigno, Senior Consultant, brings to the Analysis Factory Roambi team 18 years of extensive experience in the Information Technology and Software Engineering industries, including 12 years of experience in delivering SAP Business Objects Enterprise Business Intelligence Solutions using Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology in several vertical markets. Much of his experience has been in the international arena, working with cross-cultural, multi-functional and virtual teams in USA, Canada and India. A highly effective trainer, Gino preaches Business Intelligence best practices. At Analysis Factory, Gino specializes in Roambi Enterprise Server and Roambi mobile applications.
Jeremy Alper
Jeremy Alper, Xcelsius Programmer: Some kids grow up playing with chutes and ladders. Jeremy Alper, the next generation of Analysis Factory professionals, grew up playing with sliders and dials; he quickly found his forte as Analysis Factory’s Xcelsius Programmer. When his friends were playing RuneScape and World of Warcraft, Jeremy was programming dashboards. Even before he graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, he was designing and programming some of AF’s most powerful dashboards. Jeremy specializes in Xcelsius dashboards built to support extraordinarily large data sets.
